Above is a recent photo of the meditation garden before the first winter's freeze. The California poppies have overpowered the South a little bit - actually nice to see things growing in this climate. And the other directions are filling in nicely.
Here's a view of the back portal with extended flagstone patio, my pebble mandala to the left and the outdoor fireplace in the background.
And the pebble mandala with SaddleBack Mountain in the distance. The groundcover on either side of the mandala will fill in completely and give a nice background for the mandala.
