1994 - 2012
Just days after her 18th birthday, Princess Mini sucummbed to what we think was lymphoma. She put up a valiant fight and went out purring in my lap.
She was born in our living room after her mother "Hot Dog" (named because that's all we had in the house to feed her...) adopted us. We named her Mini as she was petite and had a bigger brother named Max. It wasn't long before that she assured us that her name was really Princess Mini.
She was THE Princess and she ruled our home and our hearts, both of which seem a bit empty today.
Like her brother Flasher, Mini loved to play, and we spent numerous hours tossing acorns in the front yard for her to chase, and watching her climb the big oak trees.
One evening when we were having Chinese take-out, we discovered her love for shrimp, as she ever so gently reached out with her paw to divert the chopsticks her way. She preferred sweet and sour shrimp over kung pao...
We miss her sweet soul and she will forever have a special place in our hearts.
Sweet dreams, Princess.
I'm so so sorry, Kathy & Richard. My heart breaks for you. Lots of hugs.

an honor to have met princess mini
she radiated a deep level of awareness
and unmistakable self-regard
altho' small, the princess
carried herself in a dignified manner
no mistake, one was in a presence
words cannot convey the fullness
of relationship felt when with mini
but one knew: put her on a pedestal
